tTIIF [ZEAS, it appears that it is the mutual desire
of the members of the board of the Village of Chubbuck to in-
vestigate the possibility of merging the City of Pocatello and
the Village of Chubbuck; and
WHEREAS, it appears that it is necessary in the
further investigation of this merger that it will be necessary
for the Village Board to meet with the City Commissioners of
the City of Pocatello to determine whether a merger is feasible
at this time;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Chairman of
the Village Board and the Village Board of Chubbuck that
the Chairman of the Village Board be instructed to arrange for
a joint meeting of the Board of the Village of Chubbuck and the
City Commissioners of the City of Pocatello for the purpose of
determining the feasibility and desirability of the merging of
the two municipalities, and if it is found that the merger of
the two municipalites is feasible that the Village Board and
the City Counsel passthe proper resolution necessary for the
further prosecution and completion of the merger.
