HomeMy WebLinkAbout10 23 2012 CMCity of Chubbuck 185 Council Meeting Minutes October 23, 2012 7:00 p.m. Minutes of a regular Council Meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, October 23, 2012. Present: Mayor Steven England, Council Members: Josh Ellis, Kevin England, Brent Marshall, Kermit Morrison, Attorney Thomas Holmes, Public Works Director Steven Smart, Deputy City Clerk Eric Jablonski. The meeting was called to order at 7:OOpm by Mayor Steven England. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by Kydd Mathews from Troop 362 of the Boy Scouts of America. The invocation was given by Bishop Jasson Mathews of the Chubbuck Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints. Council Member Morrison moved to approve the regular meeting minutes of October 9, 2012. Council Member Marshall seconded. Roll call vote: England -yes, Ellis -yes, Marshall -yes, Morrison -yes. Computer printout claims for October 23, 2012 were presented to Mayor England and Council. Council Member Marshall ask if the City had purchased more chairs for the council Chamber. The City did purchase half of the council chairs in FYI and the second half in FYI 3. Council Member Marshall also ask about the second line item for the Parks Department purchase from Four J's Inc for $150.00. Eric Jablonski explained that the Parks Department has purchased portable toilet's from Four J's Inc. Council Member Morrison moved to approve the claims. Council Member Ellis seconded. Roll call vote: England -yes, Ellis -yes, Marshall -yes with the exception of the 2nd line item on Four J's Inc a Parks Department purchase for $150.00 until he knows what it is. Morrison -yes. At 7:06pm Council Member England moved to Adjourn. Council Member Marshall seconded and the full Council approved. Note: At 7:20pm Tuesday October 23, 2012 Deputy Clerk Eric Jablonski emailed a scanned copy of invoice #21121 from Four J's Portable Toilets, to the council. The first line item in the amount of $229.50 was for Cotant Park and Mary's Park. The second line item for $150 was for the north end of Heritage Park.
