7:00 p.m.
Minutes of a regular Council Meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, June 12,
2012. Present: Mayor Steven England, Council Members: Josh Ellis, Kevin England, Brent
Marshall, Kermit Morrison, Attorney Thomas Holmes, Public Works Director Steven Smart,
Deputy Clerk Eric Jablonski.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by Mayor Steven England. The Pledge of Allegiance
to the Flag was led by Ryan McDonald from Troop 361 of the Boy Scouts of America. The
invocation was offered by Bishop Rob Elison of the Chubbuck 11 th Ward of the Chubbuck Idaho
Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints.
Council Member England moved to approve the regular meeting minutes of May 22, 2012 with
one minor correction. Council Member Morrison seconded. Roll call vote: England -yes, Ellis -
yes, Marshall -yes, Morrison -yes.
The following applicants have applied to sell fireworks at the following locations:
- Kelly and Matthew Willie, American Fireworks, 4010 Yellowstone (Green T)
- Kelly and Matthew Willie, American Fireworks, 120 W Chubbuck Rd., (Family Dollar Store)
- Karri Deschine, Pow Wow Fireworks, Corner of E Chubbuck Rd. & Burley Dr
Council Member Ellis moved to grant a fireworks permit to the three applicants subject to Fire
Department inspection and the applicants complying with all State and City code. Council
Member Marshall seconded. Roll call vote: England -yes, Ellis -yes, Marshall -yes, Morrison -yes.
Computer printout claims for June 12, 2012 were presented to Mayor England and Council.
Council Member England moved to approve the claims. Council Member Morrison seconded.
Roll call vote: England -yes, Ellis -yes, Marshall -yes, Morrison -yes.
At 7:06pm Council Member Morrison moved to Adjourn. Council Member Marshall seconded
and the full Council approved.
