March 2, 1982
Minutes of the adjourned meeting of February 23, 1982 held in
the city municipal building March 2, 1982.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Jr., Councilmembers Becky A.
Hopkins, Dwain A. Kinghorn, Thomas S. Nield, LeRoy S. Quick,
Public Works Director Steven M. Smart and City Clerk Vera C.
Armstrong.
Meeting called to order at 7:15 p.m.
BASEBALL PROGRAM - Councilman Thomas S. Nield gave a summary
of a proposed budget for the Chubbuck Boys Baseball program.
Councilman Nield proposed that all boys and girls within the
city pay $15.00 fee at registeration and be given 10 pens
to sell to help finance their registeration fee, and for baseball
participants outside city limits a $20.00 fee and be given
10 pens to sell.
Councilman Nield also noted that pre-registeration dates are
set for March 27, April 3 and April lOth.
STUDY OF LAND USE DRAFT ORDINANCE - Mayor and council reviewed
the revised draft of the Land Use Ordinance on the following
subjects; l) definitions of agriculture, kennel, animal care
site, production dwelling, salvage site and temporary salvage
site, also reviewed was the schedule of controls on production
dwellings.
COUNCILMAN Nield moved, Councilman Quick seconded, with full
council approval to adjourn me/~.ng at 10:25 p.m.
