Minutes of a special meeting held in the city municipal building
March 18, 1983.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Jr., Councilmembers Becky A. Hopkins,
Dwain A. Kinghorn, Thomas Nield and City Clerk Vera C. Armstrong.
Meeting called to order at 4:15 p.m.
PURPOSE OF MEETING: To discuss police personnel matter, city building
bids and Little League baseball fields.
POLICE PERSONNEL MATTER - A group of Chubbuck citizens have reported
that they feel some police officers have harrassed them. The
citizens appeared before the council recently and made their
full disclosure. The same citizens were invited to attend this
meeting along with the police officers. None of the citizens
attended the meeting. The Mayor, Council, and Police Officers
discussed the reports quite thoroughly.
CITY BUILDING BIDS - A discussion was had concerning the bids
received on the city building. Financing possibilities were
also discussed.
Councilman Nield moved, Councilwoman Hopkins seconded with full
council approval to adjourn meeting at 6:30 p.m.

CALL OF SPECIAl MEETING
CHUBBUCK CITY COUNCIL
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604 and 50-706, the under-
signed Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of
Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby call a special meeting of the City Council
to be held in the City Municipal Building, 5160 Yellowstone Avenue,
at the hour of 4:00 p.m., on this date, the 18th day of March, 1983.
The object of the special meeting shall be to consider 1) Little
league and ball fields at Chubbuck Elementary School, 2) Police
Personnel matter, and 3) City Building bids.
