November 7, 1985
Minutes of a special meeting held in the city municipal building,
November 7, 1985.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Jr., Councilm~ bers Becky A, Hopkins, Leroy S.
Quick, Steven M. England and City Clerk Rc i C. Conlin, Councilman Nield was excused,
Meeting called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
CANVAS OF ELECTION RESULTS - The election hel~i~November 5, 1985 was for election
of Mayor and two Councilmembers for four y6~r terms. The ballot box holding
the supplies was unlocked and sealed envelope containing Tally Book, Election
Record and Poll Book, used ballots pads plus pad with first unused ballot was
opened. Councilmembers checked Election Record and Poll Book, Combined Tally
Lists and Official Record Book and ballots and ballot pads.
After a thorough canvas of the election records, Councilman Quick moved to
accept the tabulation of votes as prepared by the Election Judge and Clerks
and proclaim the results as final. Councilwoman Hopkins seconded motion.
All councilmembers present voted in favor of the motion.

At 7:00 p.m., Councilman England moved, Councilwoman Hopkins seconded, with full
council approval to adjourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned
Mayor of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a special
meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck City
~qunicipal Building, 5160 Yellowstone Ave., at the hour of
6:30 p.m., on the 7th of November~ 1985. The object of the
special meeting shall be to Canvas the Election Results.
