Cotant, Jr., Councilmembers Becky A. Hopkins, Leroy S. Quick, Thomas S. Nield, Steven M. England, Engineer Steven M. Smart~ Attorney B. Lynn Winmill and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin. Meeting called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor Cotant. PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING is to consider the following: 1) Allocation of fines on withheld judgements. 2) Sewer Flusher Bid. 3) Lawn Mower Bid. ALLOCATION OF F~NES ON WITHHELD JUDGEMENTS - Attorney Winmill presented a proposal as a resolution of the question of distribution of monies collected ~om with- held judgements in Bannock County to Mayor Cotant and Council. ~ Attorney Winmill read the proposal in full. After considerable discussion Councilman Nield moved to direct Mayor Cotant to execute a letter with the City of Pocatello to the 6th District Judicial Court. Councilman Quick seconded. All councilmembers voted in favor of motion. SEWER FLUSHER BID - Engineer Smart stated Jordan Stuart went to Salt Lake City to get the sewer flusher the City recently purchased. Engineer Smart stated he felt that Western Road Machinery Co.'s salesman re- presented the 1979 sewer flusher as a much better sewer flusher than it is. Engineer Smart said that on the way back to Chubbuck, the truck used a quart of oil and there was problems with the power steering. After Jordan returned he checker out the sewer flusher and found out it had been plumbed wrong and a relief valve was bad. Mayor Cotant suggested meeting with the representives of Western Road Machine Co. on March 20, 1985. LAWN MOWER BID -Engineer Smart gave to M~yor Cotant and Council a recap of bids recieved. BIDDER Boyd Martin Turf Equipment Co. EQUIPMENT PRICE Jacobson #HF-5 $21,934.00 Toro #2500 $24,150.00 After discussion Councilman Nield moved to purchase the Toro #2500 because the Toro has been deemed most advantageous to the city for the following reasons: 1) Larger Frame 2) Heavier construction. Councilwoman Hopkins seconded. All Councilmembers voted in favor of motion. At 6:34 p.m., Councilwoman Hopkins moved, Councilman Quick seconded~ with full council approval to adjourn meeting. CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING CITY OF CHUBBUCK Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the ~ndersigned Mayor of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a ~pecial meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck City Municipal Building, 5160 Yellowstone, at the hour of 5:00 p.m., on this date the 19th of March, 1986. The object of the special meeting shall be to consider the following: 1) Allocation of fines on withheld judgements. 2) Sewer Flusher Bid 3) Lawn Mower Bid. Date: ~ohn O.
