COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
November ~, 1989
Minutes of a special meeting held in the city municipal building,~
November 9, 1989.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Jr. Councilmembers Leroy S. Quick, Steven
M. England, David A. Landon, Dwain A. Kinghorn, Public Works Director
Steven M. Smart and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin. Attorney Thomas J. Holmes
was excused.
Meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
CANVAS OF ELECTION RESULTS - The election held November 7, 1989, was for
the election of a Mayor and two Councilmembers for four year terms.
The ballot box holding the supplies, was unlocked and sealed envelope
containing Tally Book, Election Record and Poll Book, used ballot pads,
plus pad with first unused ballot was opened. Councilmembers checked
Election Record and Poll Book, Combined Tally Lists and Official Record
Book, ballots and ballot pads.
After a thorough canvas of the election records, Councilman England
moved to accept the tabulation of votes as prepared by the Election
Judge and Clerks and proclaim the results as final. Councilman Landon
seconded. All councilmembers voted in favor of motion.

6:45 p.m., Councilman England~moved, Councilman Landon seconded, with
full council approval to adjourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING~
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned Mayor
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of
the City Council to be hel~'at [he Chubbuck Municipal Building,
5160 Yellowstone Ave., at the hour of 6:00 p.m., on the 9th day,
of November, 1989. The object of the special meeting shall be to
Canvas the Election Results.

time and place, and for the object, recited in the call.
