Minutes of special meeting of Planning and Zoniug Commission
held in the city municipal building February 17, 1977.
PreSent: Chairman Jack Menard, Commission Members Dwain Kinghorn,
Jim Chatterton, Dick Anderson, Larry Rawlins, Clifford Payne and
Dee Stalder. Del Peters was excused.
Elane Forsgren of Forsgren, Perkins and Associates presented the pre-
liminaryplat and final plat for the Ramada Inn Subdivision, formerly
the Sojourner Motel. The City of Chubb~'¥~q~ired ~pro~erty to
be subdivided and asked the Planning and Zoning Commission to act
on both plats.
A discussion followed on the water lines and the access road to the
back of the property that is owned by a Mr. Mitchell.
Chairman Menard asked that the legsl description of the Burnside Avenue
right of way be modified to include the right of way to the west
property line. Mr. Forsgren agreed that this could be taken care of.
Commission Member Jim Chattertonmade the motion to recommend to the
City Council the pre-liminary plat and the final plat of the Ramada
Inn Subdivision be accepted with the recommendations of the City Engineer,
John Alder. Dick Anderson seconded the motion. The voting was unanimous.
The Planning and Zoning Commission then conducted a workshop meeting on
the City of Chubbuck Comprehensive Plan.
Meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
