Minutes of the regular meeting of the Land Use and Development
Commission held in the city municipal building August 2, 1990.

Meeting called to order by Chairwoman Sue Parrish at 8:20 pm.
Chairwoman Sue Parrish asked for corrections or additions to the
minutes of July 5, 1990. There being none, Myrna Cain moved
to approve the minutes of the August 2, 1990 meeting as
written with Richard Pearson seconding.
PUBLIC HEARING:
A PROPOSAL BY THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK TO AMEND THE CHUBBUCK
LAND USE ORDINANCE section 16.12.040 to conform with the
SIGHT TRIANGLE PROVISIONS of Chubbuck Code section
18.17.020 (A).
Chairwoman Sue Parrish opened the public hearing.
There being no comments the hearing was closed.
The commission then discussed this ordinance. Public
works director Steve Smart informed the commission that
this was a house keeping item. The land use ordinance
had been changed and the land development ordinance
needed to be changed so both could be in agreement.
Richard Pearson moved to recommend to the City Council
that we amend the Chubbuck Land Use Ordinance section
16.12.040 to conform with the sight triangle provisions
of the Chubbuck Code section 18.17.020 (A). Myrna Cain
seconded the motion. All commission members voted in
favor.
GENERAL BUSINESS:
DISCUSSION ON A PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO DEFINE SELF-SERVICE
STORAGE FACILITIES in the schedule of land use controls.
Richard Pearson moved to table this item until the next
meeting on September 6th, when we would have more of the
board members in attendance. Myrna Cain seconded the
motion.
Steve England moved to adjourn at 8:30pm wi~J=h Richard Pearson
