HomeMy WebLinkAbout011 17 94 Study SessionLAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION Study Session November 17, 1994 Minutes of the study session of the Land Use and Development Commission held in the city municipal building. Present: Chairman Kent Kearns, Commission members: Myrna Cain, Richard Pearson, Mary Harker, Gale Anderson, Council Representative Marvin Gunter; Public Works Director Steve Smart, and Secretary Myrna Crapo. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. An application by Art Paz, P.O. Box 340, for a Change of Land Use district for 218 West Chubbuck Road from R-2 Limited Residential to R-4 Dense Residential in order to allow building of three 4-plex's. The commission discussed Art Paz desire to rent the house and build the 4-plex's. They needs to plat this piece of property. The commission would like a sidewalk on Chubbuck and in front of the complex. A discussion was had about doing the sidewalk, curb and gutter now or waiting to do it all at once. We could put the stipulation that it will have to be done at the request of the city. An application by Nicholas J. Crookston, 244 E. Chubbuck Road for a conditional use to allow three apartments on top of the bakery. Property is presently zoned (I) Industrial. A tri-plex is conditionally permitted in the industrial zone and that is the reason for the application. The commission reviewed the drawings that they had brought in. An application by Chad Baum, 310 Briscoe for a Conditional Use Permit for a moduler home at 310 Briscoe Road. The commission reviewed the application and everything seemed to be OK.
