Minutes of Special Meeting held in the city municipal building,
March 27, 1990.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Jr., Council members Leroy S. Quick,
Steven M. England, David A. Landon, W. Dean Wood, Attorney'
Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steven M. Smart and
City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING is to discuss 1)
Facility Planning Study Consultant. 2)
Construction Bond.
Applicants for Sewer
Proposed Fire Station
SEWER FACILITY PLANNING STUDY SELECTION OF CONSULTANT - Public
Works Director Smart said, last fall, the city was awarded a
grant from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare to
perform an engineering Facilities Planning Study of our sewer
system. This grant is for 80% of the contract cost with the
remaining 20% paid by the City of Chubbuck.

Jim Keller, Forsgren Associates presented Forsgren Associates
proposal to Mayor Cotant and Council.
Mayor Cotant and Council thanked Stewart Engineering and
Forsgren Associates for their presentations. Mayor Cotant said
a decision will be made soon, and the engineering firms will
be notified.
At 7:25 p.m., Councilman England moved to go to executive session
meeting to consider and advise Attorney Holmes on possible
court litigation, as authorized by Idaho Code 63-2345 (f).
Councilman Quick seconded. 100% of council voted in favor of
motion.
Mayor Cotant and Council adjourned to conference room to
discuss possible court litigation.
No decision or final action was taken.
At 7:44 p.m., Councilman Wood moved to adjourn from executive
session meeting, to regular meeting. Councilman Landon
seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.

At 7:45, Councilman England moved, Councilman Wood seconded, with
full council approval to adjourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned Mayor
of the Cfity of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of
the City Counci] to be he]d at the Chubbuck Municipal Building,
5160 Yellowstone Avenue, at the hour of 6:30 p.m., on the 27th day,
of March, 1990. The object of the specfia] meeting shall be to 1)

2) Proposed Fire Station Construction Bond.
