COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

Minutes of a Special Meeting held at the city municiPal building, November 4th, 1999.
Present: Council members Steven M. England, Marvin C. Gunter, B. Kent Kearns and City Clerk
Ron C. Conlin. Mayor John O. Cotant, Councilman Leroy S. Quick, Attorney Thomas J.
Holmes and Public Work Director Steven M. Smart were excused.
Meeting called to order at 5:15 p.m.
PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING shall be to canvass results of 1999 City General Election.
CANVASS OF 1999 ELECTION RESULTS - The election held November 2''d, 1999 was for the
election of two Council members for four year terms. The ballot box holding the supplies was
unlocked and the envelope containing Tally Book, Election Record and Poll Book, used
ballots, plus pad with first unused ballot was opened.
After a thorough canvass of the election records, Councilman England moved to accept the
tabulation of votes as prepared by the Election Judge and Clerks, proclaiming the results as
final, Councilman Keams seconded. All council members present voted in favor of motion.
Tabulation of votes for council members were: Steven M. England=212 and B. Kent
Keams=185.
At 5:32 p.m., Councilman Gunter moved, Councilman Kearns seconded, with full council to adjourn
meeting. :'

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CI-tUBBUCK
Pursuant to idaho Code Sect~'ofi 502604, the undersigned Mayor of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbnck Municipal
Building, at the hour of 5:00 p.m., on Thursday, the 4th, day of November, 1999. The purpose of
the Special Meeting is to canvas results of election .

Pursuant to the call set forth above, notice is hereby given of a special meeting of the
Chubbuck City Council at the time and place, and for the object, recited in the call.
