COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
September 1st, 1999
Minutes of a special council meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, September
1 S`, 1999.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick, Steven M. England, Marvin
C. Gunter, B. Kent Kearns and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin. Attorney Thomas J. Holmes
and Public Works Director Steven M. Smart were excused.
Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING was to discuss proposed ordinance, establishing new
salaries of the Mayor and Council.
ORDINANCE #514 - Establishing the salaries of elected officials, and providing an effective
date.
Mayor Cotant read Ordinance #514 in full for the first reading.

Councilman Gunter moved to dispense with the rule of reading Ordinance #514 on three
separate days. Councilman Kearns seconded. Roll Call Vote: Quick, yes; England, yes;
Gunter, yes; Kearns, yes.
Councilman Kearns moved to adopt Ordinance #514 as read. Councilman Gunter
seconded. Roll Call Vote: Quick, yes; England, yes; Gunter, yes; Kearns, yes.
At 5:10 p.m., Councilman Gunter moved, Councilman Quick seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50 -6{14, the undersigned Mayor of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck Municipal
Building, at the hour of 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, the 1 st., day of September, 1999. The purpose
of the Special Meeting is to discuss adopting Ordinan #514.
