COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
November 23`d, 1999
Minutes of a regular meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, November 23`d,
1999.
Present: Council members Leroy S. Quick, Steven M. England, Marvin C. Gunter, B. Kent
Kearns, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin. Mayor John O.
Cotant and Public Works Director Steven M. Smart were excused.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Councilman Gunter.
PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Councilman Gunter asked for corrections and additions to the
Regular Meeting Minutes of November 9`h, 1999.
Councilman Kearns moved to approve Regular Meeting Minutes of November 9`h, 1999
as read, Councilman England seconded. All council members present voted in favor of
motion.
BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATION - Gail Brookins, Furniture to Go, West Fargo, North
Dakota has applied for a business license to sell furniture from a truck at the Wal -Mart
and Green Triangle Parking Lots.
Gail Brookins explained how she planned to operate the business.
Police Department recommended approval of the license.
Councilman Kearns moved to grant Gail Brookins, Furniture to Go, West Fargo, North
Dakota a business license to sell furniture from a truck at the Wal -Mart and Green
Triangle Parking Lots, Councilman Quick seconded. All council members voted in favor
of motion.
BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATION - Kim R. Johnson, Lawn Tech, 4401 Commerce Circle,
Idaho Falls, Idaho has applied for a business license to sell Christmas trees at the Wal-
Mart Parking Lot. The name of the lot is "The Elves Christmas Forest ".
Police Department recommended approval.
Councilman Quick moved to grant a business license to Kim R. Johnson, Lawn Tech, Inc.
a business license to sell Christmas trees at the Wal -Mart Parking Lot, Councilman
Kearns seconded. All council members voted in favor to motion.

ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER OF DEDICATION - DIAMOND COURT FINAL PLAT -
Councilman England read the Acceptance of Offer in full.
City Clerk Conlin stated PWD Smart recommended approval of the Acceptance of Offer
of Dedication.
Councilman Quick moved to direct Mayor Cotant to accept the Offer of Dedication from
Diamond Court Subdivision, Councilman England seconded. All council members voted
in favor of motion.
FINANCIAL REPORT for month of October, 1999 was presented to Council.
CLAIMS - Computer print -out claims presented to the Council.
Councilman England moved to approve computer print -out claims as presented.
Councilman Kearns seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
At 7:45 p.m., Councilman Kearns moved, Councilman Quick seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.
