COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
August 25, 1998
Minutes of a Special Meeting held at Chubbuck Municipal Building, August 25`h., 1998.
Present: President of Council W. Dean Wood, Council members Leroy S. Quick, Steven M.
England, Marvin C. Gunter, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Mayor John O. Cotant and Public Works Director Steven M. Smart were excused.
Meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by President of Council W. Dean Wood.
PURPOSE OF MEETING was to discuss an appeal on disciplinary action Debra Hill a
dispatcher in Chubbuck Police Department received.
Dispatcher Debra Hill gave an account of what she felt happen.
Police Chief Jerry Rowland gave account of what happen.
Councilman Quick moved to uphold the disciplinary action Debra Hill, Chubbuck Police
Dispatcher received of suspension from work, without pay, for a period of one eight hour
shift. Councilman Gunter seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
At 7:28 p.m., Councilman Gunter moved, Councilman England seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.

CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50 -604, the undersigned Mayor of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck Municipal
Building, at the hour of 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, the 25th., day of August, 1998. The purpose of
the special meeting is: 1) To go into executive session meeting as authorized by Section 67 -2345
(b). 2) To go into executive session meeting as authorized by Section 67 -2345 (f). 3) To discuss
1998 -99 Fiscal Year Budget.
