COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
September 3, 1996
Mlnutes of a Special Meeting held at city municipal building,
September 3, 1996.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick,
Steven M. England, W. Dean Wood, Marvin C. Gunter, Public
Works Director Steven M Smart and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Attorney Thomas J. Holmes were excused.
Meetlng was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PURPOSE OF MEETING is to, 1) Public Hearing - 1996-97 Fiscal Year
Budget. 2) Ordinance #460 - Annual Appropriation Ordinance.
3) Resolution #3-96 Certifying property tax levies to
Bannock County.
PUBLIC HEARING - 1996-97 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET - Mayor Cotant declared
the public hearing home.
Mayor Cotant asked for comment, for
Fiscal Year Budget, there being no
declared the public hearing closed.

ORDINANCE #460 An ordinance appropriating the several sums of
money deemed necessary and sufficient to defray all expenses
and liabilities of the City of Chubbuck for the fiscal year
beginning on the 1st. day of October, 1996, and ending on the
30th. day of September, 1997.
Mayor Cotant read Ordinance #46~ in full for the first, and
final reading.
Councilman England moved to dispense with rule of reading
Ordinance #460 on three separate days. Councilman Gunter
seconded. Roll Call Vote: Quick, yes; England, yes; Wood, yes;
Gunter, yes.
Councilman Quick moved to adopt Ordinance #460 as read.
Councilman Wood seconded. Roll Call Vote: Quick, yes; England,
yes; Wood, yes; Gunter, yes.
RESOLUTION #3-96 - Dollar certification of budget
Bannock County Commissioners.
Mayor Cotant read Resolution #3-96 in full.

Councilman Wood moved to adopt Resolution #3-96 as read.
Councilman Quick seconded. All council members voted in favor
of motion.
5:40 p.m., Councilman Wood moved, Councilman England seconded,
with full council approval to ad3ourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned Mayor
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of
the Clty Council to be held at the Chubbuck Municipal Building, at
the hour of 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, the 3rd., day of September,
1996. The object of the special meeting shall be to review and
discuss, 1) Public Hearing 1996-97 Fiscal Year Budget. 2)
Ordinance #460 - Annual Appropriations Ordinance. 3) Resolution #3-
96 Certifying property tax levies %o~-Bannock County.
