Present: Mayor John O. Cotant~ Councilmembers Leroy S.
Steven M. England, W. Dean Wood, Marvin C. Gunter~
and City Clerk Ron C, Conlin.

Meeting called 'to order at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor John O. Cota~t.
Purpose of the Special Meeting shall be to canvass results of 1997
City General Election.
CANVASS OF 1997 ELECTION RESULTS The election held November 4,
1997 was for the election of Mayor and two Council Members for
four year terms~ the ballot box holding the supplies, was
un!ooked and envelope containing Tally Book, Election Record
and Poll Book, used ballots, plus pad wit~ first unused ballot
was opened.
After a thorough canvass of the election records, Councilman
~uick moved to accept the tabulation of votes as prepared by
the Election Judge and Clerks, proclaiming the results, as
final. Councilman England seconded. All councilmembers vo~ed
5n favor of motion. ;

Tabulation of votes for Council Members; Marvin C. Gunter=624;
Leroy S. Quick=619; Rocky Shaver=aZ4; Frank Thomson=l; Brent
Grigg=l.
At 5:18 p.m. , Councilman England moved, Councilman Gunter seconded,
with full council approval to adjourn meeting.

Pursuant to Idaho Code Section §0-60~, the undersigned Mayor
of the City- of Chubbuck, Idaho, herebl, calls a special meeting of
the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck ~[unicipal Building, at
the hour of 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, the 5th. ~ da~ of November,
