ORDINANCE NO. ~
TITLE:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, BANNOCK COUNTY, IDAHO,
ANNEXING THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LAND, TO-WIT:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 10, Township 6 South, Range 34
East Boise Meridian; running thence East along the
Northern boundary of the SQutheast quarte~of said
Section 10, Township 6 South, Range 34 East Boise
Meridian to a point where said boundary line inter-
sects the Western Boundary of the Stuart latera~;
thence running in a Southerly direction along the
Western Boundary of the Stuart lateral to a point where
the Stuart lateral intersects the existing boundary of
the city of Chubbuck; thence running in a Westerly
direction along the existing boundary of the City of
Chubbuck to a point where said boundary intersects the
West boundary line of the Southeast Quarter of Section
10, Township 6 South, Range 34 East Boise Meridian;
thence running North on said boundary line to the
point of beginning.
ALL IN BANNOCK COUNTY, IDAHO; ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS LYING
ADJACENT AND OONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, AND DECLARIN(
SAID LAND A PART OF THE CITY;
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and the Council ,of
the City of Chubbuck, Bannock County, Idaho, to-wit:
Section 1. That the following described land, loca-
ted in Bannock County, State of Idaho, to-wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 10, TowRship 6 South, Range 34
East Boise Meridian. Running thence East along the
Northern boundary of the Southeast quarter-.of said
Section 10, Township 6 South, Range 34 East Boise
Meridian to a point where said boundary line intersect
the Western boundary of the Stuart lateral; thence
running inca Southerly direction along the Western
boundary of the Stuart lateral to a point where the
Stuart lateral intersects the existing boundary of the
City of Chubbuck; thence running in a Westerly directio
along the existing boundary of the City of Chubbuck to
a point where said boundary intereects the West boun-
dary line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 10,
Township 6 South, Range 34, East Boise Meridian;
thence running North on said boundary line to the
pdnt of beginning.

be and the same hereby is annexed to the City of Chubbuck,
Bannock County, Idaho, and declared to be a part of said City.
B
Section 2. That it shall be the duty of the City
Clerk of the City of Chubbuck immediately after the passage,
approval and due publication of this Ordinance according to law
to file with the County Recorder of Bannock County, Idaho, a
certified copy of this Ordinance, duly and properly certified ~
her under the Corporate Seal of said City, and on the date here
inafter stated the corporate limits of said city of Chubbuck
shall extend to and include the above described tracts of land
according to the description as hereinbefore set forth, and tha
thereafter all property and persons within the limits of said
annexed land shall be subject to the provisions of all the
Ordinances of the said City of Chubbuck, and to the police
regulations thereof.
Section 3. That it shall, furthermore, be the duty
of the City Clerk of the City of Chubbuck, immediately after
the passage,approval and due publication of this Ordinance
according to law, to file with the County Recorder and the
County Assessor of Bannock County, Idaho, and the State of
Idaho Tax Commission, one copy of the legal description and a
map prepared in a draftsmanlike manner, which shall plainly
and clearly designate the boundaries of the ~ty of Chubbuck
as altered according to the description as hereinbefore set
forth of said annexed land.
S~ction 4. That all ordinances, or resolutions, or
parts thereof in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby
expressly repealed.
Section 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect
and after the ~ day of ~, ~-_~LL~.~, 1971.
The Council of the City of Chubbuck, as provided by
law, by one-half (½) plus one (1) of the member s of the full
20 Council, dispense with the rule that the said Ordinance be
fully and distinctly read upon three different days.
