AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK, BANNOCK. COUNTY, IDAHO, APPROPRIATING
THE SEVERAL SUMS OF MONEY DEEMED NECESSARY TO DEFRAY ALL NECESSARY EXPENSES
AND ALL LIABILITIES OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
MAY 1st, 1954, AND ENDING APRIL 30th, 1955; DESIGNATING THE DIFFERENT FUNDS
TO WHICH ALL REVENUE SHALL ACCRUE AND BE PLACED AND FROM WHICH SAID APPROPRIA-
TIONS SHALL BE MADE: PROVIDING FOR THE EXPENDITURES AUTHORIZED AND WARRANTS
DRAWN ON THE VILLAGE FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR AND THIS ORDINANCE TO BE KNOWN AS
THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE OF 1954; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING A TIME OF TAKING EFFECT OF THIS
ORDINANCES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIRMAN AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK,
BANNOCK COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. The following named funds are hereby designated as the
proper funds into which all revenue accruing to the Village of Chubbuck from
all sources during the fiscal year beginning on the 1st day of May, 1954,
and ending on the 30th day of April, 1955, shall be paid, to -wit:
General Fund
Water Works System Revenue Special Funds for said fiscal year
Water System Maintenance Fund
Section 2. That the following sums of money are hereby appropriated
fiom the general fund for the payment of all general expenses of the Village
of Chubbuck during the aforesaid fiscal year:
Street Maintenance ---------------------------------- - -- - -$ 1500,00
Street Lights and Power ----------------------------- - - - - -- 750,00
Salaries and Wages ---------------------------------- - - - - -- 4500,00
Stationery, Supplies and Printing ------------------- - - - - -- 500,00
Garbage disposal ------------------------------------ - - - - -- 100,00
Fire Department Expense ----------------------------- - - - - -- 200,00
For all other miscellaneous and contingent purposes - - - - - -- §9ffl.00

That the following sums of money are hereby appropriated
from the Water Works System Revenue Special Funds, as follows:
Principal. on Water Works Bonds from special Water Works

Expenses of operation and maintenance of municipal
Water Works System:

Section 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed, and that this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, as required
by law, and shall be known as the "Annual Appropriation Ordinance of 1954 ".

WHEREAS, the Board has under consideration the amount of money
required for the General Fund for the Village of Chubbuck for the fiscal
year, beginning May 1st, 1954, and ending April 30, 1955, and find that
the requirements therefor will require a levy of twenty mills on each
dollar of the assessed valuation of all property in the Village of
Chubbuck;
"NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Chairman and the Board
of Trustees of the Village of Chubbuck, Bannock County, Idaho, that a levy
of twenty mills on each dollar of the assessed valuation of all the property
in the Village of Chubbuck be, and the same is hereby made for the purpose
of raising money for the General Fund for the Village of Chubbuck for the
fiscal year, beginning May 1, 1954, and ending April 30, 1955, and that
notice be given by the Clerk, as provided by law, fixing a time and place
of hearing on this levy for said purpose, and that said notice be published
in the Idaho State Journal, a newspaper published at Pocatello, Bannock
County, Idaho, once a week for two weeks, and that notices of said hearing
also be posted in three public places in the Village of Chubbuck, as
follows:
One at the door of the Village Municipal Building in Chubbuck;
One at Vw ,front door of the ; and
One at the front door of
It was moved and seconded that the foregoing Resolution be adopted.
On roll call the vote was unanimous.
