AN ORDINANCE MAKING IT UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY -ONE (21)
YEARS TO MISREPRESENT HIS AGE TO ANY LICENSED DEALER OR BARTENDER, EITHER ORALLY
OR BY DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING OR OBTAINING ALCOHOLIC
LIQUOR OR BEER; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVID-
ING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES ORPARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK, BANNOCK COUNTY,
IDAHO:
SECTION 1, It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of twenty -one
(21) years to misrepresent his age to any licensed dealer or bartender within the
Village of Chubbuck, either orally or by documentary evidence, for the purpose of
purchasing or otherwise obtaining from the licensee holding either a Beer or Liquor
License from the Village, alcoholic liquors or beer.
SECTION 2, That it is hereby made a misdemeanor for any person to violate the
provisions of this Ordinance, and upon conviction thereof, such person shall be
fined not to exceed $100.00,,,and upon failure to pay the fine, shall be committed
to the custody of the Village Marshal¢to be confined in the County Jail, at the
rate of $1,50 per day until such fine is paid.
SECTION 3. That an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance
shall be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval and publication, accord-
ing to law.
SECTION 4. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances, insofar as they are
in conflict herewith, be, and the same are hereby repealed.
